Hi folks. Haven't been by in a while, but had to recommend this 'lil gem. The whole thing is great , but the money is obviously in the 2nd set.I'll never forget the hayseed (I'm from Florida, I can say that) in front of me as the set break ended saying "Touch of Grey, they're gonna open with Touch of Grey" over and over. Then of course they open with noodles and a spacey Estimated to lead us back to California on the last show of the tour. Its a basketball arena and during the full throttle Blow Away, they're running a marquee on the scoreboard that says something like '5600 days since the last Florida Dark Star' (really). Then, there it is, and they absolutely dismantle every beam in the place. Its only 9 days after the Big One hit SF and 5 days till Halloween and its scary as shit. Try it , youll like it. Rest of the set is delicious droolin gravy, and then they bid us G'nite

PS- indeed, the last FL Star was the legendary Jai Alai Fronton show, also in Miami, '74.
Enjoy
Go Giants!

little late to the party here but i'm on board with this show. its one of my favorite of latter-era dead. Deadlists ranks this Dark Star as a TOP 5 all time version.

of course its a subjective kind of thing, but I agree this one could cause you to have a not-so-pleasant time in any kind of altered state ;)
